This Privacy Policy outlines Telugu Association of Sutton (TAS) ("we", "our" or "the Company") practices with respect to information collected from users who access our website at https://www.tasuk.org ("Site") or otherwise share personal information with us (collectively: "Users").

We at TAS take your personal data seriously.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU? 
 
We collect the information necessary to be able to contact you by email or /and by post This information includes contact information, like email address, telephone number and postal address, user name and password when you register on our website, citizenship status and if you are happy to provide, the names of your spouse, children (only for the purpose of making them a part of TAS's cultural, charity and social activities.) An explicit permission will be sought from you as and when required to make your family a part of TAS's activities. Please be rest assured that we will not share the data with any external organisations. The data that we store will be protected with utmost care will never be shared with any other businesses or any other charities.
 
WHERE DO WE COLLECT PERSONAL DATA ABOUT YOU FROM? 
 
The following are the different sources we may collect personal data about you from:  
 
Directly from you. This is information you provide while attending our events, through membership forms, willingly filled by you. 
 
Through publicly available sources. We use the following public sources: Facebook, twitter etc., 
 
By Reference or word of mouth. For example, you may be recommended by a friend and may be a colleague
 
HOW AND WHY WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA? 
 
We use your personal data only to send you information about our social services, activities, fund raising events and festival celebrations. We will also contact you to invite you and your family to join us and actively engage with our activities and events
 
WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH?
We will not share any information about you or your family to any private businesses, other charities.
 
We may share your information with the Government and any law enforcement agencies under court of law only under the purview of the fullest extent of the law of the England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
 
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DO NOT PROVIDE US WITH THE INFORMATION WE REQUEST OR ASK THAT WE STOP PROCESSING YOUR INFORMATION? 
 
If you do not provide the personal data necessary, or withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal data, we will stop contacting you with immediate effect and we will remove your information from our mailing list and other databases
 
DO WE MAKE AUTOMATED DECISIONS CONCERNING YOU? 
No, we do not carry out automated profiling.

How long we store your information for?
We will seek your permission to store your data once every year in May. You will also be able to ask us to remove your data, by using the unsubscribe URL given below any time if should you wish to be removed from the database

We use a tool which is based on the Snowplow Analytics technology to collect information about your use of the Site. The tool collects information such as how often users access the Site, which pages they visit when they do so, etc. The tool does not collect any Personal Information and is only used by our Site hosting and operating service provider to improve the Site and services.

Minors

We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. The Site is not designed for or directed at children. Under no circumstances shall we allow the use of our services by minors without prior consent or authorisation by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us at Team@tasuk.org

Updates or amendments to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to periodically amend or revise the Privacy Policy; material changes will be effective immediately upon the display of the revised Privacy policy. The last revision will be reflected in the "Last modified" section. Your continued use of the Platform, following the notification of such amendments on our website, constitutes your acknowledgment and consent of such amendments to the Privacy Policy and your agreement to be bound by the terms of such amendments.
